Lentil pot
Last night i discovered that when a recipe calls for a 400g can of brown lentils you cannot use 400g of uncanned brown lentils. I now have the lentilest soup in the world. There are a few vegies in there somewhere I'm sure, but mostly I am looking at a pot of brown stuff. Appetizing much? Smells good though!

Cooking stuff ups are some of the funniest.
I once put 3 tablespoons of cinnamon into a mixture to put onto the top of muffins. It was supposed to be 3 teaspoons.
I ended up with very dry muffins.
Oh and once I used rice to weigh down pastry while blind baking it, but forgot to put greeseproof paper between rice and pastry and ended up with rice cooked into the base.
