My plans for the long weekend entail cooking and eating and sleeping. Back to basics. I wish it was going to be a bit hotter because I really have to talk myself into going to the pool when it's only around 30 degrees. Beach touch comp on Monday which should provide plenty of amusement. Better start conserving energy for that now, all that running on sand is way too good for fitness for my liking.
Tightarse Tuesday I saw Juno at the Nova. It was a very funny little film. It seems like it might be just another silly teen flick, but this one's definitely worth checking out. You wouldn't think you could get many tasteful laughs from a film about teenage pregnancy, but somehow they managed it with this one, they're not making light of the situation, but it's not too heavy either. If only everyone in the world was capable of conducting themselves with such a degree of reason as the characters in this film life would just be so much easier.
